
Concept
This was an exploration of environmental design and packaging design. I did the experimental and packaging design for a bar and grill I created named "Sassafras Bar and Grill". Along with the doing the packaging design and environmental deign a logo and pattern was also created.
Research
For this case study I did a lot of research on restaurants and bars near me. The point was to create something that had a more open and airy feel to it. Somewhere that embraced nature and organic supplies. Because of this I wanted the logo to represent that nature aspect of the restaurant. I also wanted a pattern which could be used around the restaurant, like an accent wall, and on the packaging.
Final
For the environmental design I created two accent walls that could potentially be used within the store. I also created a sign for the restaurant in order to see what that might look like. For packaging design I did two different designs for bar napkins, to-go containers, and a to-go bag. I was able to maintain the same branding I created with the same logo, colors, and patterns.
